Local LGBTQ+ Affirming Mental Health Providers

Supportive and affirming mental health care is vital. Working with a professional who understands the systemic stressors upon, and unique needs of our community can be a healing, transformative experience.

PFLAG Fresno does not endorse any specific therapist or mental health treatment modality over another. Many providers offer a brief introductory consultation, and we encourage you to reach out and make connections to find what best fits your individual needs.

If you are trans or gender expansive and are required to get a second letter for affirming surgeries, consider applying for Trans Medical Need funds from either Trans E Motion or the EOC LGBTQ+ Resource Center to cover this! Also, Trans E Motion Board member April Taylor-Salery has a limited number of slots per month to do them for free!
